In Which I Shop For Our Wedding

Destroy has given me a list of items we “need” for our big day:

I dutifully shopped for my blushing bride, although I must admit the experience was somewhat traumatic. The lag here and there was near beyond my comprehension. Fortunately the prices are reasonable. Still, I have spent several thousand Linden dollars already on this venture. I trust my meager income from the Herald will be enough to support my darling in the manner to which she is about to become accustomed. I have not seen her dress, of course. And the shoes, I’m afraid, Destroy will have to buy for herself. She may wear me down on this score, but I intend to toe the line wear footwear is concerned.

In Which I Am Engaged To Be Married

Destroy Television has agreed to marry me! Pat the Rat at the Second Life Herald has already heard the news. What they don’t realize is that we’ve already gone off and eloped, in fact. I proposed after a day of sport, in which the two of us became closer than we had been before. Of course, I had had my eye on Destroy for some time, but her dalliance with Pixeleen Mistral, our Managing Editrix at the Herald, had put me off. But my hope is that this was just a phase, and that Pixeleen will content herself with my new wife’s friendship as our life together moves forward. These are indeed exciting times.
